UMass Extension provides products and services through the units described below. In addition, you will find free fact sheets, educational materials and information on upcoming events available on program websites or by clicking the "More Research Based Information" button.

Please note we cannot accept international orders except for Arts Extension Service publications.

• Books and Resources

  The Bookstore distributes publications and other items produced or used directly by UMass Extension faculty and staff as well as publications produced by the Arts Extension Service. Most of these products are available for sale with other informational material available as downloadable PDF files at no charge.

• Plant Diagnostic Services

  The Plant Diagnostics Laboratory, located at 101 University Dr., Suite A-7, near the UMass Amherst campus serves farmers, horticulturists, landscape contractors, turf managers, arborists, nurseries, and others in agriculture and the green industries. It provides reliable and prompt diagnosis of plant problems for these industries. The lab also assesses ticks for Lyme disease as a service to the public.

• Soil Testing Services

  The Soil and Plant Tissue Testing Laboratory, located on the UMass Amherst campus in the West Experiment Station, provides a broad range of soil tests to companies and residents of the Commonweath.

• Newsletter and Email Lists

  UMass Extension hosts several electronic mailing lists developed and maintained by our own programs and teams as well as affiliate and partnering organizations. Most newsletters and email listservs are provided free in an electronic format.

• 4-H Youth Enrollments

  Parents can pay 4-H Youth Enrollment fees via credit card

• Webinars

  Webinars provide the opportunity for self paced learning on a variety of topics. Access fees vary.
